The Wedding Suit

Summer is the season of chilled drinks, trips to the beach, and, of course, weddings. Since June and July are the most popular months for weddings, it's a smart idea to start preparing oneself for an invitation to attend, or to even join the wedding party. And if you'll be a groom this summer, you should have started preparing a long time ago! But never fear - we've got tips for how to look your best on that special day, and some time afterward.

Don't Skimp on Quality

Even though you won't be wearing it long, it generally is a better idea to buy a suit than rent one, because rentals never fit properly and generally look cheaper. Choose a suit made of weighty, quality wool, and absolutely opt for a tailor.

Now You Own It, So Wear It

Remove the vest and add a red, purple, or light-blue tie, and you'll have yourself a sharp new suit to integrate into your work wardrobe. On the weekend, you can rock the vest with a fitted t-shirt and dark wash jeans. The jacket, obviously, will work as a blazer, but you can also wear the pants on their own.
