Randy, Suit and Dress Fashion

Randy Fenoli is an interesting character. In preparation for Tien Son's wedding season, I started watching TV shows to get a feel for not only different suit styles but also prominent figures in men's fashion. Because wedding anything always focuses on the bride, men's fashion was difficult to come across. I was lucky: Randy is not well known as far as my research indicates (really, how many people have actually heard of <i>Say Yes to The Dress</i>?), but this man definitely knows how to wear a suit. More importantly, he is as human as everyone else and has definite good suit days and bad ones. The first picture is a good day and the second is a bad day (unless such style appeals to you):<br />

Randy's style (based on my observations) a very fitted suit with a tie and matching pocket square. I have never seen anyone fold their pocket square as flamboyantly as Randy, but it is one of the first details that makes me remember him. Although I consider the puffy pocket square a distraction, there is definite strategical value in his approach: people will remember you. In terms of suits for wedding or a business occasion Randy is the guy to follow. Brief Intro to Italian Weddings

Weddings are perhaps one of the most important moments a person can have. This ideal holds true across almost all cultures, especially in countries where the family is the locus of a person's world. In Italy weddings are, in my opinion, made all the more special because someone can have their wedding next to a medieval castle or in a backyard overlooking Tuscany. Imagine getting married in this:<br />

The location can make or break the wedding, but so can the wedding dress. Weddings are traditionally centered on the bride but Italian men take just as much care in selecting their suits. How Casual Is Too Casual?

This is a common conundrum: You've been invited to an event with a business casual dress code, and you're afraid of looking underdressed and seeming sloppy, but you're also afraid of overdoing it and being the only person in the room with a tie and jacket. While the rules of business casual dress might seem vague or confusing at first, they're more straightforward than you think. Just keep these basic rules in mind:<br />

While you don't have to wear a full business suit, you shouldn't stray far from it. You can wear just slacks, but it's also okay to pair them with a non-matching jacket. When in doubt, stay closer to business formal than to straight up casual.<br />

"Casual" doesn't mean you can skimp on expense. Whatever you wear should be of high quality, whether it's a shirt or a watch. And everything should be crisp, clean and wrinkle-free.<br />

Whatever you do wear shouldn't be particularly distracting from your face. Opt for muted or dark colors and patterns, and don't try anything too risky or trendy. Save the avant garde for outside the office.<br />

No two men have exactly the same body type, so why should they dress the same way? Using principles of balance and proportion, both men can look equally good. The secret is to trick the eye by avoiding emphasis of less-desirable features.<br />

If you're already of above-average height, chances are you want to avoid appearing even taller than you actually are. In this case, you should avoid closely tailored suits and vertical patterns (like pinstripes). If you're lanky and would like to appear broader and more muscular, horizontal stripes are key. You should avoid monochromatic looks; instead you should break up the sections of your body by wearing a <a href="http://tscustomsuits.com/Suit-Separates/Shirts" target="_blank">vibrantly colored and patterned shirt</a> with dark <a href="http://tscustomsuits.com/Suit-Separates/Pants" target="_blank">slacks</a>. Just make sure the shirt is perfectly tailored - not too tight, not too billowy. Choose a heavier fabric for your suits, and wear pants with a 1.5-inch cuff to add weight to your look.<br />

My first Tien Son custom suit is here at last, and I'm overwhelmed by how perfectly it fits me and my description of what I wanted. I've especially never had luck finding pants that work for my figure off the rack, always having to compromise, but I knew as soon as I put these on that they fit me more perfectly than any article of clothing I've ever owned. This is definitely the way clothes are supposed to work! I will probably never be able to buy a suit off the rack after this.<br />

The rest of the crew and I had a photo shoot to show off our professional looks. I was incredibly pleased with they way my suit was consistently flattering at all angles, and the bluish charcoal color looks magnificent (there are even light pinstripes that are subtle enough to pair with other patterns). While I was wearing it, I felt a sense of confidence and power that I'm not at all used to in my normal wardrobe. I'm definitely hooked, and I might need at least one more!<br />
